Leisure Intelligence ("we," "us") runs leisureintelligence.com and The Letter newsletter. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to control it. Short version: we keep it minimal.

What we collect

• When you subscribe: your email address and, if you give it, your first name.
• When the site runs: basic technical and usage data (like pages viewed and device/browser type) through standard site analytics and our hosting platform.
• When you write to us: whatever you include in your message.

We don't ask for more than we need, and we don't collect payment details on this site.

How we use it

• To send The Letter and occasional updates you've signed up for (including news about Sunday, our app).
• To understand which topics help readers, in aggregate.
• To reply when you contact us.

We never sell your personal information.

Who processes it

Our email list runs on Beehiiv, which processes subscriber data on our behalf to deliver emails and manage subscriptions. Our site platform and analytics providers process technical data to keep the site working. These providers only handle data as needed to provide their services.

Cookies

The site and its embedded tools may use cookies or similar tech for basic function and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe anytime: every email has an unsubscribe link. One click, no hard feelings, no more emails.
• Access or delete: email us and we'll update or delete your information (email and name) from our list.

Data retention

We keep subscriber information while you're subscribed. When you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from our active list, subject to standard backup and legal-retention limits of our providers.

We may update this policy; the current version will always live on this page with its effective date.
