Building intelligence for the cognitive work of everyday life

Brenda Hernandez is the founder of Leisure Intelligence and the creator of Sunday — an anticipatory AI system designed to understand context, notice what matters, and help people stay one step ahead.

The person is still the integration layer.

Modern life has more software than ever, yet people are still the ones connecting everything. The calendar knows where you need to be. Your inbox knows what requires a response. Your notes and reminders each hold part of the picture. But you are still expected to remember, interpret, coordinate, and anticipate what comes next.

Brenda saw this as a systems problem — not a personal failure. So she created Sunday: intelligence that does not wait for the perfect prompt, built to maintain context, recognize what matters, and turn fragmented information into timely support. AI should not simply help us do more. It should reduce what we have to carry.

A deeply human reason for building AI.

As a mother of two and a business professional who managed operations at a Fortune 500 company, Brenda understands the invisible work required to keep life moving. Her interest in AI comes from a deeply untechnical question: What if technology gave us more time and attention for our actual lives?

That question shapes both Sunday and Leisure Intelligence. Her work focuses on anticipatory AI, mental load, and the shift from systems that respond to what we ask, to systems that understand when and how to help. The ambition is simple: technology should ask less of people — while helping them carry less and live more.

Brenda holds a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.

Carry less.
Live more.
